Hi, I’m Santhosh 👋

Elegance Lies in Simple Things

We live in a time where AI products are everywhere big, powerful, and sometimes overwhelming. They promise to do everything for us. Yet, the products I admire most are often the simplest ones. The ones that quietly solve a real problem without heavy lifting.

When I learn something new, I always start with the basics and fundamentals. To me, that’s where the real magic happens. Every revolutionary idea in history whether in science, engineering, or technology was once just a simple concept, carefully built upon.

Take computers, for example. Today’s machines are layered with so many abstractions that we rarely think about what’s going on under the hood. But when I decided to build an 8-bit computer from scratch, I truly began to see the elegance behind it. Each component tiny logic gates, memory units, and control signals fit together like a puzzle. Simple building blocks that, when combined, gave birth to something extraordinary.

And here’s the beauty: the final product might look complex, but its soul is simple. The abstractions hide the raw brilliance, but once you peel back the layers, you see the art.

That’s why I deeply admire creators. They take fundamental truths, shape them with clarity, and build something that feels almost effortless. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s elegant.

In the end, I believe elegance doesn’t come from making things complicated. It comes from making them simple enough that they feel natural. Whether it’s an AI tool, a piece of software, or even a computer built from scratch the most remarkable things are those that carry simplicity at their core.

Because in life and in technology, elegance lies in simple things.🤗 Kudos to @Herman
